Welcome to the Internet Voice Coach Download Area

This is the area where we store audio files, video files, PDFs, script samples and other materials which you can download and use.

All practice scripts are downloadable as PDF files.

Some other files in the download area have been compressed into the .zip file format to speed downloads and reduce problems with browsers recognizing downloadable files. To use these files, you'll first have to download them onto your computer, and then unzip them. If you don't have an unzip program, we recommend Winzip, which you can download from www.download.com

Click any link below to find files or to read a description of any specific file. From the file description page, a single click starts the download process.

When reading practice scripts, you may come across some acronyms that you are not familiar with. The following is a legend for your reference.

  • ALT = Alternate (as in an alternate choice of line)
  • AVO = Announcer Voice Over
  • ANNCR or ANNR = Announcer (if there is an AVO & an ANNCR in the same script, those are different people)
  • MSC = Music sound cue
  • OC = On camera / Off camera
  • SFX = Sound Effects (no, you're not supposed to do these)
  • :60 = Sixty seconds (Commercial copy will often have the time specs right on the script. Use this to your advantage.)
  • SUPER = graphic overlay of words in a TV spot (often emphasizing the words you are saying)
  • / = when you see a slash in a script with a word on either side of it, they are asking you to choose one word, not both. So if you see son/daughter, you would choose to say either son or daughter based on your gender.
